Ramsey Rehearsal Dinner

"Thank you so much for everything you did to make our "night before" party for X & X wedding weekend so special. Your staff was amazing, friendly, patient, efficient and thoughtful. Please share my sincere thanks and appreciation with them.

Many of our guests commented on the delicious food and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.

We will be back!

"Our Nordic team had the great fortune to hold an event (“Vintage Ski Movie and Pie Silent Auction”) at Kickstand Coffee and Kitchen this winter.  Kim and Nick were encouraging, creative, and incredibly hardworking.   We appreciated their dedication to helping school teams.  They understood the need and importance of community support in developing student athletes and the love of a healthy lifestyle and life long sports participation.  They were generous with their space, allowing us to move tables around and display items for a silent auction and raffle, as well as to set up a small ticket entrance.

All of our guests had so much fun and all were so impressed with the delicious food and colorful drinks available at the bar.

I am positive that our event was such a success because of the venue, welcoming energy, great food, and location of Kickstand Coffee and Kitchen.

Our HRVHS Nordic Ski team fundraises for all our operating costs and we have put on events, done food concessions, clinics, sold coffee, etc, but our Vintage Ski Movie event at Kickstand was the best ever!  Not only was it fun, but we made more money than we have made at similar events in the past.  Kim and Nick also generously donated a portion of their profits to our team.  It was a very memorable night for us as a team and for our supporters who came to enjoy themselves.   I would love to do it again and I can’t wait to visit Kickstand for dinner as a regular customer this year.

Thank you so much!  We appreciate the support and teamwork you two were able to provide!!  I would absolutely recommend Kickstand as a great place to hold a fundraiser!

Sincerely,  JULIANA DOLAN, HRVHS Nordic Ski Team

"An idea was thrown around for about two years between myself and a friend.  The idea was how to increase safety in the ski touring community. Finally, the two of us decided to get our butt’s in gear and do something. We came up with having an educational and fundraising event to get avalanche safety on the Columbia Gorges backcountry skiing community’s mind. The sport is growing and even experienced adventurers forget about the basics. There is little room for mistakes in the mountains. What would be a good place to hold this event? That’s where Kickstand Coffee and Kitchen came into the picture.

Nick and Kim Hardin invited us to hold the first annual Columbia Gorge Snow and Avalanche Workshop, at their establishment.  The big night came and we had anticipated a small gathering. Our crowd was almost 300% more than we planned. It was a wonderful night of fundraising for our local community and some great speakers lectured.  We owe a large part of the success to Kickstand Coffee and Kitchen. Just being associated with them gave credence to our event.  Nick, Kim, and their staff provided us quality service and a stellar atmosphere.  Eliciting feedback from the participants that night. The common theme was, how the great food and the friendly atmosphere. As the organizer of the event, I continually noticed that the staff was making sure that everyone’s needs were being meet. Kim and Nick checked in with me regularly to make sure the night was going the way we had planned. It was leaps and bounds beyond our expectations.  We have received a resounding, “Yes!” from the community to do this again.

Hosting an event at Kickstand Coffee and Kitchen will make it a success. Kim and Nick are the hardest working couple in the Gorge. Their solid work ethics are reflected in the service and food they serve. These qualities are difficult to find today. We are planning on making Kickstand Coffee and Kitchen a partner in our efforts to make the Columbia Gorge a safer and closer community."
